If you haven’t seen a good film lately (or even if you have), you’ll want to head over to Laurelhurst Theatre this Thursday, September 18th for a screening of Tableland. This award-winning documentary follows producers and consumers of small-scale, sustainable food and features local producers (all of whom are prior Terra Madre delegates) John Paul of Cameron Winery, John Taboada of Navarre Restaurant, and Laura Masterson of 47th Avenue Farm. The show begins at 7:00 pm and is followed by a Q&A session with Canadian filmaker Craig Noble.

If watching the film makes you hungry, taste the offerings of Masterson, Paul and Taboada at a three-course dinner at Navarre following the screening. You can make reservations by calling the restaurant, 503.232.3555.

“Tableland” screening at Laurelhurst Theatre: 7pm Thursday, Sept. 18, $6
After party dinner at Navarre: 9 p.m., $45 per person
