Interested in a food career? Not sure where to start? This coming Saturday, October 4th, the Portland Culinary Alliance is hosting a daylong seminar about food careers at Nostrana. “Pathways to a Culinary Career,” will give attendees the chance to hear from Portland-based experts about the many careers available to those interested in working with food. Panelists will expound on topics such as food writing, blogging, photography, food carts, cooking as a second career and more. If that’s not enough to whet your appetite, Slow Food Member Cathy Whims of Nostrana will be serving a three-course lunch (including wine) to break up the day.
